IMPORTANT REMINDER: if you already own a copy of the original ebook, you should email Katie to find out how to access just the bonus projects.
This online beading class will give you ten different designs for flower pot beaded boxes. Seven of these designs originally appeared in the ebook, 'How to Make Beaded Boxes' (shown in the image above). In addition to all of the material from that ebook, you ALSO get three additional projects that were not included in the original ebook (shown in the image below).
This class gives you:
- Written instructions with diagrams, in downloadable PDF format so you can download, save, print, and work from your favourite beading spot
- Video demonstrations of the beading techniques (over an hour's worth in total), that you can watch whilst logged in to the class
- The ability to ask Katie Dean questions and get personal help if you are stuck on any project.
Who is this class intended for?
Anyone who enjoys working in Peyote stitch and who is keen to learn how to make beaded boxes. This is best suited to beaders with some prior experience of Peyote. You will be expected to follow detailed written beading patterns and to use your own initiative.
But you will also have support available in the form of over an hour's worth of video demonstrations that you can use for learning new techniques, plus the ability to ask questions if you get stuck.
The class is set up to encourage and support your growth as a beader. The projects vary in difficulty and complexity. So, if this is all new to you, you can start with something quite simple. Build up to the more complex projects as your skills develop. And, ultimately, move on to create your own variations as you reached advanced level and want to grow your creativity.
How does the class work?
Once you have enrolled, you can access the class immediately. So, you are free to work through everything in your own time, at your own pace.
You also have life-time access to this online class. So, you may want to make just one project now, then come back and try another one later on...even if it's years from now!
What materials will you need?
These beaded boxes are made from size 10 delicas. The different flowers and plants use a range of beads, including:
- Size 11 delicas
- Rocailles (rounded seed beads)
- Pearls
- Some shaped or two-holed beads.
You are welcome to choose which projects you focus on, so that you can use beads you already have in your stash. I have also included ideas and suggestions for substitutions in some cases. So, you can get creative here.
You will also need your favourite beading thread. And that's all!
In general, these miniature boxes are about 2-3" (5-8cm) in size. So, they can be made relatively quickly.
If all of that sounds good, then just click on the enrol button below to join the class now and start beading whenever you are ready! I look forward to welcoming you and sharing these beautiful projects with you.
