How do you normally decide on the price for handmade items or tutorials that you want to sell...?
a) Pick a figure that 'sounds right'?
b) Do a bit of research and see what prices other people are charging, then charge the same?
c) Use the pricing formula that all businesses apply to find the correct price?
If you answered A or B then you could be facing one (or both) of these problems.
- Your products simply aren't selling
- You are making sales, but you are missing out on money because you're charging the wrong price
If you already know the pricing formula and apply it each time you set your price, then this class probably isn't for you.
But if you don't know the pricing formula, or if you don't know how to apply it correctly, then this class is going to change your life...or rather, your sales and the money you earn!
What will this online class teach you?
In this class you will learn the basic pricing formula and how to apply it correctly. The class includes an Excel spreadsheet that automatically calculates your prices for you. All you have to do is type in the figures that reflect your product.
I will be teaching you EXACTLY how determine what those figures should be FOR YOU personally.
Then, I will show you how to apply them in order to set the best price for whatever products you want to sell.
Who is this class for?
Anyone who creates handmade items or tutorials and sells them either in person or online.
Yes, that's right, although I have specified beaded items and tutorials, this formula, and the spreadsheet calculator can be applied to literally ANY craft. So, if you knit, or crochet, or do lace-making, embroidery, or make cards, or quilts, or anything else, you can still learn everything you need from this class.
Do you need any special skills or equipment?
No. If the notion of an Excel spreadsheet sounds scary, don't worry - it really isn't. All you're doing is typing numbers in, and this class is teaching you which numbers to type and how to do that.
However, you will need access to software that can open an Excel file. Most people have that already, and if you don't the class includes links to help you find what you need.
When does the class start and finish?
You can work through this class at any time. You will be working at your own pace, so once you are enrolled, you can start whenever you are ready, and finish whenever you wish.
You will get life-time access to the class, so you can come back and review any (or all) parts of it at any time.
What if you still need extra help?
You will have the opportunity to book additional one-to-one coaching with me if you need extra help. That is NOT included in the price of the class, but it is only open to students on the class. And of course, it's entirely optional. The wealth of material in this class should be plenty to get your pricing to the best point it can be.

Your Beading Tutor
Hi! I'm Katie and I'm here to help you become a better beader. Now, no matter whether you've just started out or you've been beading for a while, you probably come across things you don't understand or can't do.
So, that's where I come in. I've been beading since 2003. I was self-taught originally, so I'm pretty sure that whatever 'pain point' you're currently experiencing, it's something I've also faced and overcome. Which means I understand your frustration, but I can also help you to find a way through it.
My own beading experience covers a multitude of different techniques (beadweaving, French beading, bead embroidery and more!). I've published books, patterns in magazines, I even edited a beading magazine for 3 years! And I'm a qualified teacher.
All of that is very nice, but it's not what drives me. I am passionate about beading, in all its forms, and I want others to share that passion. So, my dream is to help more people, like you, to get the most out of their beading. That's why I set up the 'Become a Better Beader' group and why I started publishing beading courses. I've developed the courses specifically to address the things that people tell me they are struggling with. So, if there's something you find difficult, let me know about it.
