Sunshine and Flowers Superduo Beaded Boxes Tutorial

Three fun variations for making a beaded box using superduos and seed beads. Katie guides you through with written PDF tutorial and video demonstrations.

In case you missed anything in the video, here's a quick recap...

What materials do you need for this project?

You will need superduos and basic seed beads. You can preview the detailed materials list in the class curriculum down below.

What techniques will you be using?

Peyote stitch, plus some very basic Cubic Right Angle Weave. The basic techniques are demonstrated on video. You will get just under and hour's worth of video demonstration time. And you can preview one of the videos for free to get a sense of the video content and quality. Just click on the 'preview' button in the course curriculum, below.

Who is this class suitable for?

Anyone who enjoys beading! If you are a complete beginner, you can use this class to learn, but please be aware that you may need to do some extra "study" to help if you are using techniques that are new to you.

For anyone who already enjoys beading, provided you are capable of following instructions, and happy to learn and work things out, you can have a go at this project.

You have the video demonstrations to help you, plus the ability to ask me questions if you get stuck on anything.

What is included in the class?

You can view the full class curriculum below. Make sure to click on the down arrow to expand everything to view all the lessons that are included.

You will get written PDF tutorials that you can download, save and print, if you wish. You also have access to the video demonstrations.

How does the class work?

Once you have enrolled, you are free to get started as soon as you wish. Or, if you're not ready to begin yet, you can start at a later date.

You can work through all the materials at your own pace. So, you might want to use this like a workshop and carve out the time to bead the project over a weekend. Or, you may prefer to work in short bursts, whenever you can fit in some beading time.

You will need to be logged in to the class to view the videos. But you can save the PDF tutorials, allowing you to work away from your computer screen, or offline if you wish.

You have access to all these materials for life. So, you can come back and revisit this project over and over!

What if you have previously purchased the PDF tutorial for the superduo sunshine beaded box, from the Beadflowers website, or Etsy?

Just check page 3 of your tutorial and that tells you how to join this class WITHOUT paying twice for the tutorial. So, you will only pay for the videos and the two alternative variations.

How do you join the class?

If that all sounds good, then just click on the enroll button, complete the check out process, and start whenever you're ready!

If you have any coupon codes to use, please make sure you enter them BEFORE you complete payment: I can't refund coupons after payment has been made.

I look forward to welcoming you into this class and sharing the superduo sunshine and flowers beaded boxes with you.

Hi! I'm Katie and I'm here to help you become a better beader. Now, no matter whether you've just started out or you've been beading for a while, you probably come across things you don't understand or can't do.

So, that's where I come in. I've been beading since 2003. I was self-taught originally, so I'm pretty sure that whatever 'pain point' you're currently experiencing, it's something I've also faced and overcome. Which means I understand your frustration, but I can also help you to find a way through it.

My own beading experience covers a multitude of different techniques (beadweaving, French beading, bead embroidery and more!). I've published books, patterns in magazines, I even edited a beading magazine for 3 years! And I'm a qualified teacher.

All of that is very nice, but it's not what drives me. I am passionate about beading, in all its forms, and I want others to share that passion. So, my dream is to help more people, like you, to get the most out of their beading. That's why I set up the 'Become a Better Beader' group and why I started publishing beading courses. I've developed the courses specifically to address the things that people tell me they are struggling with. So, if there's something you find difficult, let me know about it.

You can also access hundreds of free informational blogs about beading and join the 'Better Beader' group at www.myworldofbeads.com.
