Tea Pot Beaded Box Mini Online Class
Learn how to make this tea pot beaded box with a downloadable PDF tutorial plus technique videos. For intermediate to advanced beaders.
This is one of my 'mini' online classes. What is that, you ask?
Well, in a 'mini' class, you get the following:
- Downloadable PDF tutorial with full written instructions, photos and diagrams
- Videos that demonstrate basic techniques used in the project
- The ability to ask questions if you get stuck
You don't get:
- Videos showing this specific project
How does the mini class work?
Just the same as my larger classes and courses.
You can work through everything in your own time, at your own pace.
You get life-time access to the materials.
A little about this project
The tea pot beaded box is a Peyote stitch project. The techniques are intermediate level (so nothing difficult). But you can expect to be asked to work things out for yourself and use some intelligence as you make this.
You are going to be working with size 11 Delicas. I have also added an 8mm Chaton to decorate the lid. So, you will need a very small quantity of size 15 seed beads for bezelling that. But the Chaton is optional - you could replace it with Delicas if you wish.
The finished tea pot is about 3.5" tall. The width of the storage space is about 2.5", but obviously the complete tea pot, including spout and handle is much wider than that.
Although it won't hold water (!), this tea pot will actually hold - and pour - little beads if you wish. So, you can certainly have a 'bead tea party' with it!

Your Beading Tutor
Hi! I'm Katie and I'm here to help you become a better beader. Now, no matter whether you've just started out or you've been beading for a while, you probably come across things you don't understand or can't do.
So, that's where I come in. I've been beading since 2003. I was self-taught originally, so I'm pretty sure that whatever 'pain point' you're currently experiencing, it's something I've also faced and overcome. Which means I understand your frustration, but I can also help you to find a way through it.
My own beading experience covers a multitude of different techniques (beadweaving, French beading, bead embroidery and more!). I've published books, patterns in magazines, I even edited a beading magazine for 3 years! And I'm a qualified teacher.
All of that is very nice, but it's not what drives me. I am passionate about beading, in all its forms, and I want others to share that passion. So, my dream is to help more people, like you, to get the most out of their beading. That's why I set up the 'Become a Better Beader' group and why I started publishing beading courses. I've developed the courses specifically to address the things that people tell me they are struggling with. So, if there's something you find difficult, let me know about it.
