Materials for the sunshine or flowers beaded boxes
This class contains three potential projects: the main sunshine beaded box (shown in the centre of the photo above). Then, you have a flower variation that adds a layer of leaves and creates a different number of petals/rays of sun (shown on the left in the photo above). Finally, you have the option to add a Rivoli to the centre of the box lid - this works with both the sunshine and the flower (detail of the centre of the lid shown on the right in the photo above).
You may choose to mix and match these variations, make just one, or make several. So, here is the materials list for each possibility...

Materials for the Rivoli Centre
You will need all the materials for whichever variation you wish to make (choose from sunshine or flower), plus the following:
2g size 11 Delicas in a colour to match either your Rivoli, or the superduos you are using for the central lid section
1g size 15 seed beads in the same colour as either your Rivoli, or your size 11 Delicas
14mm Rivoli in your chosen colour
I recommend using this as a guide, but wait until you have joined the class and downloaded the pattern PDF before purchasing your beads. The PDF tutorials give you some options for changing up the colouring to help you use beads from your stash, or to save money if you are buying new beads.
All the beads used for this project are readily available from any good bead shop.
For anyone who is curious, I DO NOT recommend using Twin Holes for these beaded boxes. The Twin Holes are slightly more rounded in shape, so they don't fit together as securely, and that will make it difficult to achieve the tension you need to create a stable box.
You can use any brand of seed beads for this project...the only exception is for the Rivoli. It is vital that you stick with Delicas for creating that bezel. A different type or brand of bead is likely to result in a bezel that doesn't fit, and that will cause you problems.
Again, if you are viewing this before enrolling on the class, you will get more help and information once you have joined the class and downloaded your PDF tutorials. This list is intended to give you an idea of what you might need, to help you decide if this is a project you wish to make. If you are already on the class, then please start gathering your beads and enjoy the beading!
