I chose to make this design without adding the frames, but it is set up to allow space for them, so you will end up with framed candy cane images. I also chose to make a candy-striped hanging loop for this lantern - it seemed fitting for the design! If you wish to do the same, it's very simple...on each row of your Peyote tube, just add 1 red, 1 white, 1 red, 1 white and step up. Keep to the same bead order on every row, and you will create a natural spiral.
